No More Visits To Daddy's for Maggie

I let Maggie go to Bobby's for the third Friday in a row this week. NEVER AGAIN! He called me about 15 minutes before I was supposed to get off work, saying that he was "just checking in". Bobby does not have a phone so I asked where he was. He said at a pay phone. I asked where Maggie was, he replied that she was at home. Before I completely freaked out, I asked who she was at home with. He replied that she was by herself, BUT he locked the door. It was at that point I completely freaked out. He then tried to calm me down by saying, she was fine, he was ONLY a couple blocks away & she was eating a sandwich when he left. I then began to go completely ballistic saying what if she choked on the sandwich? What if he was hit by a car (he has no driver's license so he walked) on his way home? What if she turned on the oven? She's only 3, anything could happen. Bobby just could not understand why I was so upset, he really didn't see anything wrong with it. I demanded that he return home immediately & then left work to go get her. If there was any remaining doubt that the man has no common sense whatsoever, it has been erased for all eternity. Thankfully, Maggie was safe & sound when I picked her up. Bobby even managed to muster up some tears when I told him she would no longer be coming over for visits.
