Wow, I haven't written in a really long time. I have however, been incredibly productive in the meantime. Well to get myself back into the groove, I'll just update a little for now & maybe try to write something of substance (ha, yeah right) later.

After Bobby got out of rehab, which he checked himself into, he moved to a halfway house, which is where he is living now. He found Jesus, (don't they all?) while in rehab. Although I'm not a big fan of organized religion, it seems to be working for him so far. He's been sober for more than 30 days now & we're getting along much better. Maggie has seen him a few times this month and he says once he gets his own place, he will start helping me financially & wants regular visitation with her. Which is fine as long as he is sober, but I just wonder how long that will last, especially when he gets his own place & no longer has to follow all the rules at the halfway house.

We had lunch one day & he said he no longer tells lies, so if there was anything I wanted to know, I could go ahead & ask. I immediately inquired as to what REALLY happened to my TV, stereo & this really cool matted & framed charcoal drawing of one of the Asian warrior statues that is outside of Ripley's Believe or Not in St. Augustine that I drew a long time ago. He said he gave them to a drug dealer as collateral in exchange for drugs. His orginal story was that his old room-mate took them & he was going to get them back. I figured that was bullshit in regards to my TV & stereo, although it was somewhat satisfying to hear him admit the truth. I did however think that maybe the room-mate did take my picture since it had no monetary value, why would a drug dealer want it? He said the dealer changed his cel phone number & he has no idea how to get in touch with him. I'm extremely upset over my picture. It took me weeks to draw it and is truly irreplaceable. Maybe I should find consolation in the fact it was good enough to barter for drugs?
