I got a new cel phone a couple of months ago and it's really cute and tiny. I got it when I renewed my contract & chose it because I liked the way it looked. I'm a sucker for a good package. But now it's really pissing me off because a lot times when someone calls me it doesn't even ring but goes straight to voice mail. Then it vibrates real quick to let me know I have a message. So it'll vibrate & I'm like what the hell? How can I have a message when it didn't even ring? And that quick vibration is the only notification I get of a message. On my old phone it would say on the screen that I had a message. And the "silent" feature...wouldn't common sense dictate that if you have it on silent it would vibrate instead of ring? NO. It does nothing when it's on silent mode. Therefore when I have it on silent, if I get a call & they leave a message, I don't know unless I specifically call my voice mail. So I tried another option called "meeting". This does causes the phone to vibrate instead of ring, BUT if you don't answer it, it then beeps obnoxiously loud to let you know you missed a call. NOT good when I'm in class. Furthermore, if I turn it off, like at night, if someone called while it was off & left a message, it does nothing to alert me that I have a message. This phone is like every guy I've ever dated. Looks good, but behaves badly.
