Movie quote of the day:
Penny Wharvey McGill: I've spoken my peace and counted to three.
Ulysses Wharvey McGill: She's counted to three. Goddamit! She's counted to three. Sonofabitch!
--O Brother Where Art Thou?

Song of the day:
David Bowie - Young Americans

I'm sick. Yuck. I woke up with a sore throat and I had to go to a meeting at school at 10am & I could barely hold my head up. I felt like crap. I came home and slept all day. I feel a little better but my throat still hurts. Then I had a big fight with Bobby. I had talked to his mom because we are trying to coordinate a time to have Maggie & Taylor's pictures taken for Christmas cards. She said Taylor couldn't do it this weekend because he will be out of town. When I asked where he was going she told me that Bobby and Vesna (his girlfriend) were taking him to Universal Studios. When I got off the phone with her, I immediately called Bobby and told him that I thought it was really nice that he could afford to go to Universal but not pay child support so I can get my brakes fixed. He said, he wasn't paying for it, Vesna was. So I said well it was really crappy of you to not invite Maggie. He said they were taking Taylor for his birthday, which was Nov. 1. I replied that I didn't care, they still could have taken her too. Then asked him what he did for Maggie's birthday anyway. He didn't say anything for a minute then said that he didn't want to talk to me anymore so I called him an asshole and hung up on him.

Ok I have to get out of here. I'm going to Stephanie's (Maggie's old babysitter, not the same one that wants to have sex with our professor) to see her new house. She's making soup and we're going to watch Supersize Me.
