I'm trying really hard to get into the Christmas spirit but it's hard when it's so damn hot outside. I've always lived in Florida so it's not like I expect it to be really cold or anything but damn...it was 83 degrees today! I can usually wear a jacket or at least long sleeves this time of year.

There's this new book out that I saw a few weeks ago that I want to get and Oprah had the authors on her show yesterday, or maybe it was the day before. I'm not sure because I tape her & watch it whenever I have time. Anyway it's called He's Just Not That Into You. And the guy & girl that wrote it used to write for Sex in the City, which I didn't watch because I can't stand Sarah Jessica Parker. The guy who wrote it was saying how women are always analyzing the things guys do & say to them and trying to figure out what they mean. But that guys really aren't that hard to figure out. We make it much more complicated than it actually is. If a guy doesn't call, he's just not that into you. If he's too busy to see you, he's just not that into you. If he's really tied up with work right now, he's just not that into you. He said that if a guy is interested, you will know it. He will do whatever is necessary to spend time with you, he will call you because he is thinking about you. It will be obvious. This is all very liberating to me. And when I think about my own past experiences with guys, it's true. The ones that really liked me were very attentive, they made it clear that they liked me. Wow, what a concept.
